Masayo Kamano
Prior to KADO, she worked at Bayview Asset Management from 2009 to 2019 as the Head of Product Management.
Masayo started her career joining Kleinwort Benson International (Tokyo) as a research analyst. She also worked at American Express as the senior analyst in Hong Kong and the portfolio manager in Tokyo. Afterwards, in 2004, she established the asset management company with her friends and has taken charge of the investment.
Co-founded KADO Capital Management in July 2020.
Masayo received a bachelor’s degrees from Kobe City University of Foreign Studies.

Atsuo Sakurai, CEO, co-funded KADO in July 2020.
Prior to KADO, Atsuo was a Managing Executive Officer at Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities. Prior to joining Mitsubishi, he worked with Nomura Securities since graduating from university.
During his career at Mitsubishi and Nomura, he served in various roles including product development and marketing.
Atsuo received a bachelor’s degrees from Otaru University of Commerce in 1982.

Atsushi Obata, Representative Director and Head of Sales, joined KADO in 2020.
Prior to KADO, he worked at Bayview Asset Management as Head of Sales.
Prior to joining Bayview Asset Management, Atsushi was Director of Private Banking Dept. at Mizuho Securities Co., Ltd. and Morgan Stanley Securities Co., Ltd.
Atsushi started his career at Nomura Securities Co., Ltd. While at Nomura for 19 years, he gained experience in all areas of investment banking and investment management, including retail sales, institutional sales and marketing, and corporate finance.
Atsushi received a B.A. in law from Keio University in 1989.

Toyohiko Wata
Toyohiko Watanabe, Director and Head of Compliance, joined KADO in 2021.
Before joining KADO, he was the Director of Management Planning and Compliance Officer at Capital Asset Management. He began his career at Nomura Securities, providing support for corporate fundraising and coordinating underwriting for overseas bond issuances. He then held positions as Head of Investment Trust, Financial Markets Sales, Debt Capital Markets, and Global Markets Planning. After his time at Nomura, he joined Japan Mutual Securities as Director and Managing Director.
He received a bachelor degree from Hitotsubashi University in 1977.
